Our 12th Anniversary

We are off to celebrate our wedding anniversary this weekend.  Twelve years with this guy!  Are we even old enough for 12 years of marriage already?  Surely not?! :)

I feel like we are just getting started...we have so much to look forward to in our future.  God has blessed us abundantly and specifically given me a partner that completes my life.

Our journey over the past year has been full of new experiences and I love that I get to face each one with Nate!  He makes me laugh, yet teases me until I cry! He's comforting when I'm low and supportive when I need it.  He encourages me in ways that I always want to be better at whatever I'm doing and let's me know he's proud of me when I'm able to accomplish something big in my life.  I've privileged to be married to someone that makes me feel safe and comfortable in our little life.  He's strong willed and sure of himself and gives me the space in our relationship to be the same way.

What Keeps You Busy?

Oh gracious, I feel like a chaotic mess lately!  Work has been BUSY, Chase keeps us BUSY and running around to get between the two keeps me hopping!

However, being a Momma is so fulfilling to me!  Being with my little family and soaking up every ounce of Chase Alan is what's on my mind :)

Seeing Nathan with our son has made me so emotional and proud.  He is so good with him and Chase just adores his Daddy!  In the midst of our little rat race, we're enjoying our moments together and creating memories already!

I never understood this when I was younger, but now,
I'm ready for time to just s-l-o-w down! 

There's More Than Corn In Indiana

However, I wasn't so sure about this when we were doing corn on Saturday!  We got 32 quarts and this was just half of Nathan's first planting.

 We pulled in some help and had everything done & cleaned up by 5:00 that evening.  It was a successful day if I do say so myself! 

This is the first year we've had green beans in our garden.  I LOVE GREEN BEANS!  Our Sunday dinner consisted of some garden goodies and I was thrilled.  I haven't done work in the garden this year...I just help cleaning & eating :)  It's fulfilling to Nathan to grow fresh produce for our family and I enjoy seeing how much pride he takes in his work! 

Our Buckeye Baby

After we found out we were expecting a boy, Nathan's Grandmother went out and purchased this Ohio State Buckeye outfit for our baby boy.  Most of his family are buckeye fans, so we were pretty excited about Chase being able to wear this! ...and if you know Nathan, you know he almost always seems to have a buckeye t-shirt on!

It seems Chase is moving constantly when he's awake, so it was hard to get any better pictures!

We never put socks on him so he just kept staring at his feet and wiggling them all around :) 

Thursday Snapshots

Chase is getting use to riding in his carseat more now that we run to Grandma's house everyday!

I think I enjoy our cuddles even more now than ever!  Love that little face!
