Blessings

It might not do you any good or mean a thing to you to read through these, but I feel better after writing a few things down -

I'm thankful for love...
I am completely amazed over relationships and how they seemingly come and go.  I have been hurt enough to understand how much it means to have the love from another in your life.  I have been blessed in my life to experience love from family and friends... the kind that does not fade with circumstances.

I'm thankful for faith...
It is awesome to know as I face difficult situations that God has my best interest in mind.  I realize we bring some things on ourselves and I realize God allows us to face things to make us stronger or be an example for another.  Having faith that can carry you through and being close enough to God that he can use you to be a blessing is where I want to be.

I'm thankful for opportunities...
Like the people God puts in our path that eventually become an advocate for us with a job.  This has happened to me several times over the past few years and I couldn't be more blessed with where that has landed me now.  I'm thankful God has given me a desire to work hard!

I'm thankful for material things...
I feel so fortunate as I look around my cozy home.  I'm not wealthy, but still blessed beyond what I could hope for.  Well, I hope for a lot so maybe that isn't a good analogy :)

I'm thankful for family...
I honestly think God has given me the best family.  There is something so exciting about the times we can all be together!  I love my nieces and nephew -  I can't imagine the love you have for your own child if I'm this crazy about them!

I'm thankful for my husband...
He doesn't even read my blog and honestly thinks it is silly, but I'm still going to be thankful for him! :)  I value the haven and security I have in my spouse and never want to take that for granted.  It seems the devil is attacking families and marriages at every opening anymore and I don't want to ever be guilty of letting him into mine.  I'm thankful for the desire Nate has to work hard and provide for us.  I'm thankful for the little ways he lets me know he loves me... those sometimes mean more than the grand gestures.

What is something you are feeling thankful for today?

I am thankful that God knows all. Even when things don't make sense to me, I can rest on the fact that He knows what's going on. Hakuna Matata! Sounds easy but isn't always :o)

It does help to express our feelings in writing. Yours thoughts bring encouragment to others, too! I am so blessed to serve a caring God. I know He loves me and I love Him, too! I appreciate having the Bible to guide my footsteps and give me hope! I find strength in God's Word. I am thankful for good health. I appreciate my family, friends, and my church family. I am blessed to have a job, modest home, car, plenty of food. I have what really matters in life!
