Pregnancy Highlights

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 8 weeks

Size of baby: just over 1/2 inch long - the size of a kidney bean

Sleep: All the time!  I wake up earlier, but good gracious I could go to sleep as soon as I've eaten supper each evening.

Cravings: I am just hungry all the time!  Nothing specific...just want food often!

Symptoms: So far the only 'issue' I'm having is just feeling nauseated of an evening or whenever I don't eat.  Evenings are definitely worse on me so far.   I am already not wanting any clothing tight on my stomach...looks like tents are in my future! :)

Best moment this week:  Having our 1st doctor's appointment.  Nathan was able to take off work and go with me.  Our ultrasound was so clear and we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat.  Since we both had the day off work, we ran errands and enjoyed lunch out together.  Just a perfect little day!

Two more days until I am 9 weeks along.
