This has been a LONG rewarding project! From June 2010 when we first looked at this house and even now as we live in the midst of a project, I'm amazed at the transformation!
The front step, sidewalk to the drive and across the front of the house were in bad shape. They were causing drainage issues and also unstable as they had cracked and were no longer flat surfaces.
The day I pulled in the drive and my front door had been painted was a BIG deal. I realize my house still doesn't have siding, BUT I DO have a painted front door finally :) I've realized during a project like this, it is sometimes the little things that you become SO thankful for!
Our goal is to eventually stain the concrete. For now, I'm just ever so thankful to have a step and poured sidewalks. Yah for progress!
