New Wheels

My car has been limping along for a little while and thankfully, we were able to replace it this past week.  This wasn't without frustration and stress though!  We couldn't decide what we wanted for sure... and then to actually agree on features :)  So once we decided, we kind of thought it would be an easy process.  Granted, we were buying used, but still, it isn't that difficult to find what you want -- right?  haha

After wasting about a week going back-n-forth on one vehicle alone, we finally found it... my car!

My sweet husband put a lot of thought into this purchase.  He works on our vehicles if something needs fixed, so he really did his research!  He also put a lot of time looking for the exact features I wanted -- thank you, Nathan!  I love it!

Easter

 We had a great Easter - special church services to CELEBRATE our risen Saviour and quality family time! 

 Chase was able to open his Easter basket and then after dinner at my in-law's house, he had his first egg hunt :)  We are loving celebrating new holidays with our little guy and watching his wonder as he explores everything at this stage!

I was easing into Spring with this outfit.  Tights and tweed to compensate for the cooler temperatures and a bright sweater to remind myself of the colors Spring brings us!

What I'm Wearing | Wednesday 4-2-14

I just loved this outfit.  I did choose to wear my spring/summer dress on a day we got snow flurries, but whatever! :)  It IS officially Spring so it isn't like I can help what the weather decides to do!

This dress is several years old but I'm seeing eyelet pieces everywhere right now.  It is sleeveless but functions perfectly for me even in the summer because I still need a lightweight cardigan all of the time anyhow!  

For today, I tried to winterize this dress a bit ...the cardigan is dark and a heavier weight and of course the boots helped to keep my legs warm and the ensemble balanced.
