What I'm Wearing: 10/25/2013

We've made it to another weekend!
Things have been chaotic around our house this week - between Chase not sleeping well, me having some late days in the office and Nathan installing our fireplace in our house!  Let's just say, sitting down to update the 'ole blog hasn't happened much.

My brother is flying home from Ghana this weekend, so we will be spending time with his family and attending a birthday party for his twin daughters (#2) while they are in town.

Starting next weekend, Nathan will be deer hunting quite a bit so Chase & I are going to soak up his attention this weekend!  :)  See ya on Monday...

The Weekend Blur

This is how I felt this weekend :)
"Oh, he's sleeping?
Let's see how fast I can run through this house and get some things done!"

Today is my work-at-home day for the week.  I treasure these days.  Get some extra cuddle time with my little guy and am able to get things done around the house in between answering emails or working on projects.

Chase Is 4 Months!

A few weeks late, but at least we got it up here!

We started off this month by going to Cincinnati for a 4 day getaway.  You traveled well, which was such a relief since you don't normally like your car seat!  You slept well in your pack-n-play while we were there, but had a rough time overall.  I don't know if it was just being some place different or if you weren't feeling well.  By Monday, you were good as gold and such a sweet baby again.

You have started doing a little bit better in your car seat.  You don't cry quite as much during our car rides.

You are "talking" even more this month.  When you are upset you whimper and it sounds like you are crying "Momma"!  That's what I hear anyhow :)  You have also found your feet.  You grab hold of them a lot when you are lying on the floor and have even started chewing on them.

You rolled over for the first time on the 11th of September.  Daddy had you on the floor and was lying beside you.  You have been so close to rolling over for awhile, but I guess the frustration of being on your tummy finally did it that evening.  We were practically cheering you on and all of our commotion scared you!

We put you in the bumbo seat to eat your cereal and you sure like sitting up and seeing everything.  We've also put you in the exersaucer for a little while.  It seems like you get worn out quickly in there, but have enjoyed "standing up" and seeing all of the new toys that are attached to it.

We had your baby dedication on the 22nd of September.  It was such a special time and some of our friends and family were able to be there with us.

You are now pretty much in all 3-6 months clothes.  I'm finding pants are either made long or something because the 0-3 are not even small on you yet.

At your 4 month doctor's appointment you had to get 4 shots.  You grabbed the nurses hand and ended up getting stuck a total of 5 times though!  Those poor thighs!  You did pretty well after the initial shock...just had some preliminary screams and then fussiness that evening.

You weighed 15 pounds (50%) and were 25 3/4 inches long (75%).  You had gained 2+ pounds since our last visit and grown 2+ inches.  The doctor said you were a healthy little guy!
